Camera Movement
Camera movement is the fluid motion in which the camera is moved when filming. The term 'camera movement' is also known as 'fluid in the head'. Panning and tilting the camera become involved in camera movement.
Head Room
Head room is the distance between the top of the persons head and the top of the frame, there should be a centimeter between the persons head and the top of the frame if in a close up shot. Rule of thirds is when the persons eyes are a third of the way down from the top of the frame.
Nose room
Nose room is the space in front, and in the direction, of stationary or moving faces.
Lead room
Lead room is the space in front, and in the direction, of stationary or moving bodies and objects. There should be space in the direction the person is facing or moving.
Smoothness
Smoothness is relating to how steady the camera is while the person is moving and is trying to make the movement as fluidly as possible.
Anticipatory framing
Anticipatory framing is when you plan to follow a person moving and will need to become proficient at anticipatory framing. If the frame is anticipated correctly the movement of the frame fluidly constantly ensure sufficient headroom and lead room.
